Viewing a Property
We arrange viewings at times to suit you, including evenings and weekends if they are more convenient to you. Have you seen a property you want to view? Give us a call or send an email.
We provide good quality homes to good quality tenants, as such all tenants must go through our credit check and referencing process before entering into one of our tenancies. Once you have viewed a property you'll be asked to complete our Tenant Terms of Business and pay a holding deposit. Credit checks and referencing are then completed through www.vouch.co.uk. You will also be required to prove your Right to Rent in the UK.

Peace of Mind
Rent East Yorkshire make it our priority to ensure the safety of our tenants. Any property you move into with us will have full Gas and Electrical safety certificates & smoke and carbon monoxide alarms. Your deposit will also be registered with The Deposit Protection Service as required by law.
You'll be provided with all the legal documents required prior to your move in via email. If you'd rather have printed copies please let us know in advance.

Renting Through REY
If your application is successful, your first months rent and the deposit become due and will need to be in our account as cleared funds atleast 48 hours prior to signing your tenancy agreement or your agreed move in date whichever is sooner, to allow the relevant paperwork to be processed and created in time.
Unless agreed in writing, you accept the property in the condition that you viewed it in. You must view a property or have a trusted person view on your behalf before applying.
Rent East Yorkshire will arrange for an Inventory to be completed at the start of the tenancy. The Inventory will be provided to all tenants, who then have 7 working days to make the agent aware of any discrepancies.

Please note IF an indoor pet is allowed at the property then an additional £20/pet/calendar month rent is charged.

No one in the employment of Rent East Yorkshire Ltd has the authority to make or give any representation or warranty in relation to the property.
In order to reserve a property a non-refundable deposit of 1 weeks rent is required, this amount will be deducted from your first months rent.
If your application is unsuccessful the reservation deposit will be returned to you.
Payments will be made by Bank Transfer.
If you withdraw your application, or are misleading or dishonest in the details you provide, the holding deposit will NOT be refunded.
