Viewing a Property 

We arrange viewings at times to suit you, including evenings and weekends if they are more convenient to you. Have you seen a property you want to view? Give us a call or send an email. 

Referencing Process 

We provide good quality homes to good quality tenants, as such all tenants must go through our referencing process before entering into one of our tenancies. Once you have viewed a Property, you can complete the Application Form, provide 2 valid forms of ID and the holding deposit required for the property. Credit Checks are completed through www.vorensys.com and all other references are completed in-house.

Peace of Mind 

All deposits taken are protected by the Deposit Protection Service. Energy Performance Certificates are also available for each property. We ensure that all properties meet current safety legislation and will provide you with a copy of the Gas Safety Certificate and the Electrical Installation Condition Report for the property before you move in. We ensure that the smoke detectors are working and are on each floor, and that all water systems are run to minimise the issue of Legionella Disease, we can even arrange your contents insurance, utilities and media suppliers too. 

Renting Through REY 

Once your Tenancy has been agreed, you will be asked to pay the remainder of your first months rent & deposit withing the first 7 days. Your Tenancy will be sent via DocuSign.com for you to sign, this means there is no need to make a trip to our office and you can read through and sign your Tenancy at a time convenient to you.

Please note if indoor pets are allowed at the property then an additional £20/pet/calendar month rent is charged.

No one in the employment of Rent East Yorkshire Ltd has the authority to make or give any representation or warranty in relation to the property. 
In order to reserve a property a non-refundable deposit of 1 weeks rent is required, this amount will be deducted from your first months rent. If your application is unsuccessful the reservation deposit will be returned to you. Payments will be made by Bank Transfer. If you withdraw your application or are misleading or dishonest in the details you provide, the holding deposit will NOT be refunded.”
