Maddie Lancaster MARLA is the Managing Director at Rent East Yorkshire and has been working in the lettings industry for 10 years locally, joining Rent East Yorkshire in 2022. With a wealth of knowledge and being L3 ARLA qualified she is a great person to head up the team. She will be focused on driving the business forward, connecting with our current client database and running our online presence however she’ll also help manage the daily running’s of the office and carry out valuations.
Outside of work you’ll find her volunteering at a local dog rescue and spending time with her partner, family & friends.
Mark Edwards is the Founder of Rent East Yorkshire Ltd and remains an active Director, he comes from a background of legal work and has been managing properties for years. Mark has grown the business from its humble beginnings, starting with a stall each Saturday on Beverley Market to where it is today. When the business began Mark did nearly everything himself and he really appreciates having a great team of staff now to run Rent East Yorkshire the way he had always seen it to be.
Away from the business Mark has a keen interest in cars, motorsport and also owns another business in Driffield.
Samantha Fairbairn is our Maintenance & Lettings Co-Ordinator. Samantha is passionate about ensuring that all our managed properties are in top condition, and interacts with landlords and tenants regulary to guarantee this is achieved. Her role involves conducting property inspections and overseeing maintenance tasks, as well as ensuring compliance for all of our properties.
Outside of work, Samantha loves spending time with her family, exploring photography, and traveling to new places. She believes these hobbies fuel her creativity and helps her bring a fresh perspective to her work.
Phil Nolan is our Inventory & Inspection clerk at Rent East Yorkshire. Phil has more years’ experience in Property Management than he likes to admit. Phil started working at Rent East Yorkshire in 2012 on an ad hoc basis and joined us formally in early 2014 on a part time basis. Phil does the majority of inventories and property inspections.
Phil is passionate about sport, particularly cricket and Hull City.
Rachel Kendall is our Accounts & Lettings Co-Ordinator and has been at Rent East Yorkshire since the beginning of 2012. Rachel comes from a background of office management and she loves organising us at the office. Rachel manages our accounts and is the point of call for your deposits and paperwork.
Away from work, she enjoys spending time with her family, voluntary work, sewing, paddleboarding and travelling.
