Maddie Lancaster MARLA is the owner of Rent East Yorkshire and has been working in the lettings industry for 10 years locally, joining Rent East Yorkshire in 2022. With a wealth of knowledge and being L3 ARLA qualified she is a great person to head up the team. She focuses on driving the business forward, connecting with our current client database and running our online presence however she also helps to manage the daily running’s of the office and carry out valuations.
Outside of work you’ll find her volunteering at a local dog rescue and spending time with her partner, family & friends.
Rachel Kendall is our Accounts & Lettings Co-Ordinator and has been at Rent East Yorkshire since the beginning of 2012. Rachel comes from a background of office management and she loves organising us at the office. Rachel manages our accounts and is the point of call for your deposits and paperwork.
Away from work, she enjoys spending time with her family, voluntary work, sewing, paddleboarding and travelling.
Mark Edwards founded Rent East Yorkshire and built the business into the trusted local letting agency it is today. With many years of experience in the lettings industry, Mark established Rent East Yorkshire with a strong focus on customer service, professionalism, and local knowledge.
In 2025, Mark successfully passed the business onto Maddie Lancaster, stepping away from Rent East Yorkshire having laid strong foundations for its continued growth. Although no longer involved in the business, Mark remains an important part of its history and is well recognised within the brand.
Mark can now be found at Alec W G Hall in Driffield, where he has moved into a new professional chapter outside of the property industry.
